Mabel's Labels

Whether you have decided to begin organizing your life, or you simply need help keeping track of what's what to make life easier, Mabel's Labels will have something you need. Pictured above, is a label from the Canister And Spice collection - all of which are dishwasher, microwave, and UV safe!

Next, are the Classic Stickies, which are awesome for sippy cups, diaper bags, toys, lunchboxes, and anything else you can think of! These little guys are also dishwasher, microwave, UV, and kid - proof. I love the idea that you can put these darlings on virtually anything your child owns, and it will STAY there - no more worrying about sticky or white residues where the sticker should've been...and no more worrying about which one is which!
Another favorite are Mabel's Tag-Mates. Simply peel and place the specially designed stickers (they miraculously withstand washing and drying) on the clothing tag and VOILA! Nobody will have to guess which pair of shorts belongs to Suzie or try to decipher marker bled-out initials.

Regardless of your children's ages, these are great for: Daycare. Play-Dates. Siblings. Stay-overs. School.

You name it, they've got it covered: Check out more labels and collections at www.Mabel.ca

Binktees

Not a fan of plastic clip-on pacifier holders? Cool, us either. Check out the latest from Bink-Tees: cute shirts that make pacifiers (and the holders) PART of the design, rather than an accessory (that, um...gets lost...a lot.)

The shirts are not only cute and functional but they are ALSO e-a-s-y to use. You sandwich the ribbon between the patch and shirt...and voila. All done. It's held with velcro! No more accidentally poking baby with ugly plastic clips, no more trying to scrunch the shirt up to clip, and no more throwing said clip across the room because it wasn't working worth a darn.

Check 'em out. Don't like soccer? No biggie...you can get them in a ton of designs...

How to fold a Tshirt

Step 1
Lay down the shirt horizontally and faceup in front of you with the neck on the left-hand side.

Step 2
Pinch the shirt on the side opposite you at two points: with your left hand, at the collar; and with your right hand, halfway down the shirt, parallel with your left hand.

Step 3
While holding the two points, cross your left hand over your right, bringing the shoulder down to meet the shirt’s bottom hem, and grab the hem.

Step 4
Lift the shirt so that it hangs in front of you. Uncross your arms, without letting go of the shirt, and pull the fold taut as you do so.

Step 5
Place the shirt on the table. One sleeve should be sticking out. Fold over the sleeve, and fold over the side. Flip over the shirt.

i can - Earthchild

"We do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children." - Earthchild (established 2004.)

I have come across another great company - one that believes in being environmentally friendly AND socially responsible. Earthchild. Earthchild has an entire line of children's clothing - all made from cool, soft, organic cotton.

And, right now they have these AWESOME children's t-shirts, and right in time for Earth Day! I really really wish they had one in my size, too!! Lorelei plans to rock this shirt, not only for Earth Day, but for the rest of the year (and maybe the next - if it still fits). Not only are these shirts organic cotton, but they INSPIRE others. They inspire and they build confidence in our future generations that yes, they CAN change this world.

And quite frankly, what more could you ask for?

Pretty Posh Princess - To squeak or not to squeak...

You've heard of light up shoes (and have probably worn them). But, have you heard of squeaky shoes?

Pretty Posh Princess has a line of said squeaky shoes called squeakeez by Aleja LAkroy. Located in each adorable shoe's heel is a squeaker, so when the princess walks, everyone will know she's walking - that, or the dog found them. No, but really...these shoes would be great to encourage beginner walkers - they can make noise AND learn a new skill? How cool for them!

And, there is more good news! I know the continuous sound of uninterrupted squeaking sounds awesome, but JUST IN CASE you have one of "those moments", the squeaker can be removed - leaving behind a still-fully-functional shoe...well, two.

So, to squeak or not to squeak....either way, these shoes can do both.

You know you want them...

One sock. Two socks.

L loses her socks. Frequently. Either she's crawling around and they come off, or she just decides she'd rather take them off and crawl around with them in her hand until she finds an appropriate hiding place.

And while I know I'm lucky that she hasn't quite figured out how to "un-diaper" herself, it doesn't make keeping socks paired together any easier. Some people worry about socks losing their mates during the whole laundering process - and I have a hard time finding them both to even launder.

So, what's a mom to do? Buy Snapdragon Baby socks.

These adorable socks feature a patented loop that snaps into your baby's outfit. Your baby can wiggle, climb, crawl, kick, and pull as much as they want...but the socks? They are here to stay!

Snapdragon Baby Socks come in 3 color choices (white, pink, blue) and 2 styles (rib vs. cable-knit). And, oh wait! - There's more...you can choose from 5 different loop prints (ducks, tulips, ladybugs, sports, cars).

Check them out HERE.

Baby Needs Shoes too...

I can't express to you how much I LOVE these shoes! (And, guess what - they're even cuter in person!)

I am so tired of seeing Barbie and Dora the Explorer shoes - as if that was really a choice. Anyone that knows me very well, knows my dislike for character clothing (shoes included). I feel that if my child is going to be a walking advertisement for a HUGE company, I better be getting paid for it...not PAYING for it!

It is refreshing to finally see infant/baby shoes that are actually cute (and without popular characters). I love the color, the shape, the material...I love everything about these shoes! In fact, these GENEVA shoes in red aren't the only thing that See Kai Run has to offer! An entire line of cute shoes (for boys too!).

See Kai Run designs shoes made specifically for babies and beginner walkers (those who have just started walking). Each shoe is made from "luxurious, butter soft leather" and are handcrafted. The soles are made from a special, flexible rubber (TPR), which is more flexible than traditional leather - meaning better for baby's feet.

So, go on...check them out and be sure to let us know which shoes are YOUR favorite!

Organics by Tadpoles

I recently found a great new option for organic baby wear. I'd like to introduce you to Organics by Tadpoles.

These products are made without harmful chemicals and made of natural cotton interlock knit (interlock knit is a double jersey knit, a more luxurious version of everyone's favorite t-shirt fabric).

They are luxuriously soft and wonderfully simple. Organics by Tadpoles offers short and long sleeved rompers, pants, hats, hooded towels, and a wash mit in their fabulous collection. I have mine in a fabulous sage trim, but you can also get them in a pink or cocoa trim.

the baby bunch

So often, mom gets overlooked at the baby shower. When, really she should be getting just as many gifts as baby! Being pregnant can be hard on a woman's body - and we'd all love a little pampering. Enter The Baby Bunch. It's the PERFECT GIFT for a baby shower. Something for mom AND baby...all in one! And so creatively clever! In the bunch shown above, there are 2 onesies, a t-shirt, hat, bib, and 2 pairs of socks! You can get them in a variety of colors and even choose whether you'd like them as a bunch or in a bucket! How AWESOME is that?

I absolutely LOVE this idea. I think it's perfect (can't you tell?)...
